Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional player of the basket ball. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. She has played in 7 appearances in the league and had 1,477 rebounds and 1,477 rebounds during her professional career. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships, and the 2013 U18 FIBA 3x3 Championships. She was named one of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale is also named for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for hitting multiple important shots at the NCCA Tournament.
